Juguemos a la oca en inglés. El «Juego de la Oca» es un juego de mesa tradicional en nuestros hogares con el que podemos practicar el conteo, tomar turnos y pasarlo en grande. Todos conocemos bien las reglas del mismo ¿Te atreves en esta ocasión a jugar a la oca en inglés?
Importante, no olvides que dado y oca en inglés varía según si es singular DIE/GOOSE o plural DICE/GEESE

| – We place the pieces on the starting space. Now we roll the die to see who starts. | – Colocamos las piezas en la casilla de salida. Ahora tiramos los dados para ver quien empieza. |
| – You got the highest number, you go first and then mommy. | – Has sacado el número más alto, primero vas tú y luego mami. |
| – A number 5. Well done, move your piece forward 5 spaces. | – Un número 5. Bien hecho, mueve tu pieza hacia adelante 5 casillas. |
| – Now it is my turn to roll the die. Wish me luck. | – Ahora es mi turno de tirar el dado. Deséame suerte. |
| – Pick up the die and roll it again. | – Coge el dado y vuelve a lanzarlo. |
| – What a shot! The goose! Now you move forward to the next goose space and say “From goose to goose, faster than a moose” and reroll. | – ¡Qué tiro! ¡La oca! Ahora avanza a la siguiente casilla de la oca y dices «De oca a oca, y tiro porque me toca» y vuelve a tirar. |
| – My turn again. Oh no! The Inn/Hotel, I miss one turn. You roll the die two times in a row. | – Mi turno de nuevo. ¡Oh no! La posada/El hotel, pierdo un turno. Lanzas el dado dos veces seguidas. |
| – The maze! You get lost and dizzy in the maze. I am afraid this time you have to move backwards to space 30. | – ¡El laberinto! Te pierdes y te mareas en el laberinto. Me temo que esta vez tienes que retroceder a la casilla 30. |
| – Look all this spaces have a particularly rule: º The Bridge -You move from bridge space to the other bridge space (forward or back) saying “From bridge to bridge, I roll as I reach” and roll the die again. º The Dice – “From dice to dice, I roll to win the prize”. Advance or go back to the other dice and reroll. º The Inn/Hotel – You stay and rest, you miss/lose 1 turn. º The Well – There are different rules for this one. You have to wait until someone comes to pull you out by passing over this space, taking your place or wait for 2 turns. º The Maze – “Lost in the Maze”. You go back to space 30. º The Prison/Jail -You’re staying in Jail for 3 turns. ºThe Death -Return your piece to the beginning – start the game again from the beginning. | – Mira, todas estas casillas tienen una regla particular: º El puente: te mueves de la casilla del puente a la otra casilla del puente (hacia adelante o hacia atrás) diciendo «De puente a puente y tiro porque me lleva la corriente» y vuelves a tirar los dados. º Los Dados – «De dado a dado, tiro porque me ha tocado». Avanza o vuelve a los otros dados y vuelve a tirar. º La Posada/Hotel: te quedas y descansas, pierdes 1 turno. º El Pozo: hay diferentes reglas para este. Tienes que esperar hasta que venga alguien a sacarte pasando por esta casilla, tomando tu lugar o esperando 2 turnos. º El Laberinto – «Perdido en el laberinto». Vuelves a la casilla 30. º La Prisión/Cárcel: te quedas en la cárcel durante 3 turnos. º La Muerte – Regresa tu pieza al principio – comienza el juego de nuevo desde el principio. |

| – Wait! Four remaining spaces to the finish line. Come on die! Four, Four!… Oh no, a five! You can only be entered with an exact roll. Then, I advance four spaces and go back one. | – ¡Espera! Cuatro casillas restantes hasta la línea de meta. ¡Vamos dado! ¡Cuatro, cuatro!… ¡Oh no, un cinco! Solo se puede caer con una tirada exacta. Luego, avanzo cuatro casillas y retrocedo una. |
